The dynamics were great, and what was really the selling element in this arrangement. It gives this arrangement its own two feet to stand above a ton of other arrangements that don’t waver far from the original.

@AliciaDort But u must remember the nite they spent 2gether b4 the final battles. She was in his arms and he saw who she was. Yes Cloud did love Aeris but it wasnt really expressed until she was gone and thats how it will be for Tifa. In Advent Children he went frantic when she was almost killed by Loz. The scene w/ the promise is made to be romantic even w/ though they werent close. Cloud kept the promise to save her when she needed it. It was obvious that there was a great connection there

Beautiful, i’d give you that. Your lyrics do clash with the melody once or twice throughout. It also gives the feeling that this should be performed in a duet or at least with a backing vocal.

You guys should know that in the original script of FF VII, Tife wasn’t there… They added her later. Which is why sometimes it feels like they copy/pasted her over. I liked Tifa’s character, personally, but I understand the story a little better now that I’ve learned this detail… I can pardon them for the awkwardness of some of the Tifa scenes where she doesn’t seem to fit in the scenario very well…
