Will it be possible to play Final Fantasy XIV on Japanese servers if outside of Japan?

I live in Taiwan right now.

When FFXIV comes out, I want to play it on Japanese servers, not Taiwanese servers. The reason for this is that my Chinese is awful, and I want to practice my Japanese.

Will it be possible to sign up for a Japanese server from outside of Japan, or will Square-Enix bar people who are playing from foreign ISPs?

Just a variety of clips of the world of Vanadiel, as well as some of the ending of Chains of Promathia as well as Treasures of Aht Urhgan. It’s not supposed to make sense; it’s just a visual accompaniment to Distant Worlds. The beautiful “Distant Worlds” song sung by Susan Calloway susancalloway.net which contains the recurring “Memoro de la ?tono” theme found throughout the game. I love this version! Distant Worlds lyrics: Seas invite in the evening sun to light the somber abyss. Clouds dance up with the heavens’ stars, chanting an air of joyous bliss.
